By accessing PhoEdit.com or using any PhoEdit image or PDF tool, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Service scope

PhoEdit provides practical browser-based tools for tasks such as image compression, resizing, format conversion, background removal, object cleanup, image upscaling, image-to-PDF creation, and PDF compression.

The service is intended for general productivity, creative, ecommerce, school, and office workflows. It is not a substitute for professional legal, archival, medical, forensic, or production-quality review where exact output, metadata preservation, or compliance requirements are critical.

3. User responsibilities

  • Use PhoEdit only for lawful purposes and only with content you own or have permission to process.
  • Do not use the service to infringe intellectual property, violate privacy, or create harmful or misleading content.
  • Keep original backups before editing, compressing, converting, or cleaning files.
  • Review output files before publishing, submitting, printing, or relying on them.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass technical limits of the service.

4. Tool limitations

Browser-based tools depend on your device, browser, available memory, file size, input format, and third-party browser capabilities. Large files, unusual formats, password-protected PDFs, damaged files, or very high-resolution images may fail or produce imperfect results.

AI-assisted tools such as background removal, image upscaling, and object removal can produce artifacts, missed edges, unexpected texture, or inaccurate reconstruction. Always inspect results carefully, especially for commercial, identity, product, or documentation use.

5. Privacy

Your use of PhoEdit is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains browser-side processing, analytics, advertising code, third-party libraries, logs, and contact messages.

6. Intellectual property

PhoEdit's website design, text, logos, interface, and software are owned by PhoEdit or its licensors. You retain responsibility for and rights to the content you choose to process, subject to any rights held by others.

7. Availability and changes

PhoEdit may change, suspend, remove, or limit tools at any time. We try to keep the site reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent availability, or compatibility with every browser, device, file type, or workflow.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

PhoEdit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that outputs will be error-free, suitable for a specific professional purpose, preserve all metadata, or meet any external platform's requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PhoEdit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including data loss, missed deadlines, upload rejection by third-party platforms, or business interruption resulting from your use of the service.
